The Road re-opens!

We're delighted to say that, ahead of schedule, the main A591 Grasmere to Keswick road has re-opened following a three mile section of the road being closed since Storm Desmond and December's floods. For months, the landslip between Dunmail Raise and Thirlmere has meant that only pedestrians could move through, and that, whilst this became a bit of a tourist attraction in its own right, it obviously
