The Lake District hardly needs an introduction when it comes to walking - the spectacular beauty and landscape of the Lake District mean it is ideal terrain for walking. It provides the perfect location for walking breaks or simply a gentle stroll or a more strenuous walk on the fells. The Lake District has walks for all ages, stamina and abilities.
The Lake District is host to a variety of walks and scrambles, from mountains such as Scafell Pike and Helvellyn and it's renowned 'Striding Edge', to waterfalls and isolated tarns, and one of many more leisurely strolls around one of the lakes.
There are a variety of walks from the doorstep of the hotel and we will be pleased to give you some tips. Alternatively why not hire a guide for the day and get them to tailor a walk to your requirements.
