Rothay Garden re-opening soon as the Lake District’s newest four-star hotel! - 28/05/2008

Yes, it's fantastic news. The AA, upon inspection of the development has confirmed that Rothay Garden will, upon re-opening, meet their criteria for FOUR STARS! Originally, their opinion had been somewhat reserved as it was of course, difficult to envisage the quality of the development from drawings but having inspected the property and witnessed the scale of the project, together with the quality of finish they were more than pleased to award us four stars.

So, if you have previously enjoyed the "Rothay Experience" , you can be assured you will enjoy an even more pleasurable experience upon your next visit. Apart from the virtually rebuilt building, you will be able to enjoy even better service and better facilities with superb new bedrooms and Loft Suites, great new lounges, and lots of other nice new touches like our much improved bar featuring a Cruvinet which enables you to enjoy a quality glass of wine even days after opening! There are many other improvements too but you'll have to come and find out for yourselves!
