The Garden restaurant at Rothay Garden is only one of a few Grasmere hotels with 2 rosettes.

Unlike a traditional hotel restaurant, the two-rosette Garden Restaurant at Rothay Garden is an attraction in its own right, with its contemporary furniture, clean elegant lines and great views overlooking the hotel's two acres of gardens. The hotel's kitchens are managed by Joint Head Chefs Andrew Burton and Adrian Kneeshaw.  Andrew, who has been at the hotel with Chris Carss for 24 years, is one of only 400 Masterchefs of Great Britain.

With many years experience gained in hotels such as the Berkeley, Connaught and Savoy in London and Gleneagles in Scotland, Andrew, Adrian and their talented team maintain Rothay Garden's excellent reputation for quality food, professional service and great value. Dishes are prepared using the freshest of regionally sourced produce, and our chefs are proud of their unrivalled network of dependable and reliable local suppliers.

Many of the hotel's guests return two or three times a year and, for most of them, the Rothay Garden's hearty Lakeland breakfasts, superb gourmet dinners and fine collection of wines are great attractions.
